The P8 (or Paper 8) is a project created by karl choubassi made as a new way to listen to music with mp3 files baked into a qr code. The name comes from it being made from paper and incuding 8 pages. The idea comes from a feeling of emptiness and not having ownership of the music while using streaming services. This solves the multiple problems of old physical media, such as:

• audio quality: since this uses qr codes and google drive sharing no quality is lost

• durability: old physical media like CDs and vinyls could easily break or scratch while the P8 uses qr codes so the music cannot scratch or break unintentionally

Another perk of the P8 is being able to download the music onto your device making it effortless to have your music on the go.
